Tuesday 31 March 2020

Sullivan Upper School Preparatory Department - we are looking forward to welcoming parents and families of pupils in the Preparatory department to the School Concert on Tuesday 31 March 2020 and Wednesday 1 April 2020, 7.00 pm to 8.15 pm in School Hall (Senior School Site).   Please be aware that the school is situated in a residential area and we ask everyone to park with consideration for our local residents.

  

Saturday 15 February 2020

We are looking forward to welcoming supporters and players from Campbell College for the Medallion Shield Quarter Final match on Saturday 15 February 2020 (from approximately 10.15 am to 12.15 pm). There is limited car parking available at the front (Belfast Road entrance); the rear of the school site (Abbey Ring entrance); in the public car park at Spafield (less than a 5-minute walk).  Please be aware that the school is situated in a residential area and we ask everyone to park with consideration for our local residents.

Attendance at Redburn Loughview Community Forum Interagency Meeting on Thursday 6 February 2020.

 


Following on from the Irish Schools Competition, Sullivan resumed the group games in the McCullough Cup.

 

Royal and Prior from Raphoe travelled to Holywood. In a one sided game Sullivan soon scored and then many opportunities followed.

Thirteen Sullivan fencers took part in Round 3 of the NI Junior Foil Series, held on Sunday 14 January 2018 at Hunterhouse College in South Belfast, across 5 of the 7 series age groups. 


In the U16 Boys, Cormac Kitchen finished just outside the medals in 5th place, his best result so far this year. 


Round 3 was the first event of the series for Anna Vaughan and Cece MacMahon in the U16 Girls, Anna making 2nd and Cece 3rd 


There were 5 SU entrants in the U14 Girls category, all of them reaching the quarter finals. Izzy Evans again progressed to reach the semi-final stage, though losing this time to take a bronze medal. The other 4 filled the 5th to 8th places: Ruzi Stathem, Angharad King, Rachel McKillen and Alex Burke respectively.  


Alexander Penny, Arnav Arava and Cameron Kitchen finished 13th, 15th and 16th in the U14 Boys. 


John Kane was 5th in the U12 Boys, Finn Neely 6th 


Round 4 takes place on Sunday 4 February 2018 at Queen’s Leisure Centre in Holywood.

  1. Head of the Home Economics Department (Permanent Full-Time) 
  2. Teacher of Biology (Permanent Full-Time)   
  3. Teacher of Physical Education (Female) (Permanent Part-Time)  
  4. Teacher of Business Studies (Temporary Full-Time Maternity Cover) 

 Information will be notified to the relevant applicants in due course.
