Sullivan 1st XI went into the McCullough Cup semi final as underdogs, with Wallace fielding a team of Ulster and/or Irish players.
The first half saw a nervy Sullivan let in an early goal and which left them on the back foot. After a period of consolidation, with good saves from M McCone in goals, Sullivan had a break and J Matchett scored the equaliser.
This seemed to only push Wallace on and they immediately from the restart moved up the pitch and scored.
Wallace scored again and the first half ended 4-1.
After the half time break Sullivan were better organised and defended well but Wallace scored another 2 goals.
