Sullivan Upper School’s A Level pupils are celebrating excellent A Level and AS Level results, which are reward for all their efforts during their courses.
At A Level our pupils achieved an overall pass rate of 99.7% with 75% of grades at A*-B level. 84% of the cohort achieved 3x A*-C grades and nearly a third of the year (30%) achieved at least 3x A grades. Kirstin Cunningham, Callum Crymble, Emma Hopps, Shirley Jiang and Jamie Morris all achieved 3x A* grades, whilst Erin Stokes, Alex Mairs, Isla Mitchelson, Susan Gillespie and Jake Thompson all secured 2x A* grades.
The Principal, Craig Mairs, said: “We are very proud of the achievements of our pupils and are delighted that their hard work has been rewarded. We are also grateful for the efforts of our committed and skilled staff team whose dedication has helped our pupils fulfil their potential. Whilst headline statistics are impressive, at Sullivan we teach classes full of individuals with their own stories, and we are pleased to celebrate all their achievements. We wish our departing Year 14 every success as they take up their places on competitive degree courses this autumn.”
Sullivan’s Year 13 pupils have also enjoyed great success in their AS Levels with 80% of pupils achieving 3x A-C grades and 32% achieving at least 3x A grades. This gives them a very good platform to build upon next academic year.
