SUN SMART COMPETITION WINNERS Each year as part of Year 8 science the pupils learn about the dangers of exposure to too much sun without sun protection and the risk of skin cancer.
All Year 8 pupils are asked to design a leaflet giving the message to be “Sun Smart”. The nurse then picks a selection of the best leaflets and prizes of sunglasses, hats, lotions and sun reactive bands are awarded.
