  • NCU U15 Team

    Lucy Andrews and Isabella Wray who were selected to play for the NCU U15 team at the Interpros against Leinster and NWCU. The team were unbeaten in the T20s

  • U17 Ulster Schools

    Congratulations to Henry Calvert and Finn McGuigan on their selection for U17 Ulster Schools v EIRA. They won 32-0!

  • U17 Girls NUC Team

    Great to see five Sullivan pupils in the U17 Girls NCU team. They competed at the Interpros in Dublin against Leinster and NWCU. Congratulations to Erin Mitchell, Emily Calvert (Captain), Lucy Andrews, Sophie Merriman and Erin Bond.

  • European Scout Event

    Sixth form pupil, Hollie Wilson, was selected to attend the European Scout event -  Roverway 2024 🇳🇴.   She recent set off  for her adventure at Roverway 2024 in Norway. Surrounded by majestic mountains, fjords, and valleys, the team will experience unique activities before joining the main camp in Stavanger.

  • Irish Table Tennis

    Toby Caldwell (Year 11) travelled to the Isle of Man and Prague with the Irish Table Tennis team in June. In the Isle of Man he was competing in the senior schools international in the under 14s boys competition, Toby achieved a bronze medal, in the team event they achieved a silver medal. In the Prague international Open, he got to the last 16. Some great matches, and a great experience for all competitors.

  • Tailteann Games

    Congratulations to Roger, Anna and Curtis who all represented Ulster at the Tailteann Games held in Santry, Dublin on Saturday 22 June. Roger and Anna competed in the long jump and Curtis won a silver medal as part of the 4x400m relay team.

  • Year 8 Girls Athletics

    Well done to the Year 8 Girls Athletics team who placed 4th in the Ulster team event at Meadowbank on Thursday 6 June.    Congratulations to Roger McMullan and Anna Moran who have been selected to represent Ulster at the Interpros in Santry, Dublin on Saturday 22 June.

  • CHARITY

    Congratulations to Year 13 pupils Daniel French, Christy Bailie, Ollie Duffield, Olly Playfair and Joel Kee, who were awarded first place in the Junior Male marathon relay category at the Marathon awards night. The boys were fundraising for the charity Oddball, which helps to raise awareness of both men’s physical and mental health. They set a target to raise £500, but superseded this with an amazing £1153. Congratulations to the boys.

  • Strandtown Primary School Visit

    On Friday 3rd May 25 members of the school orchestra and band, went to Strandtown Primary School to take part in a workshop with their senior orchestra and band. Our pupils played alongside Strandtown pupils, encouraging them as the learnt a new piece. It was a great experience and they were an inspiration to the younger pupils. The morning concluded with the string orchestra performing The Adams Family Theme and the band played a piece called Rainbow Connection.

  • YEAR 8 NETBALL

    On Monday 13th May the Year 8 Netball team travelled to Rockport to take part in their annual Netball Tournament. This is a competition for Under 11 and Under 13 girls with 40 teams competing throughout the day. The girls had a successful day, winning their matches against Strathearn, Belfast High, Bangor Academy and Sacred Heart to reach the semi-final against Rockport in the afternoon. Unfortunately this was to be the end of the tournament for the girls, but it did not dampen their enjoyment of the day. With the opportunity to catch up with friends and teachers from their primary schools, whilst also enjoying some BBQ food for lunch, the girls had a great time building their relationships as a team. A great way to finish the season!

  • UKMT Junior Maths Challenge

    On 25 April 2024, 50 Year 8 & 9 pupils took part in the UKMT Junior Maths Challenge. We had 11 Gold, 8 Silver and 20 Bronze awards. Nyla H was the highest scorer in Year 8. Annabel C & Alison McN came out top overall. Well done to everyone who participated!

  • UKMT Junior Team Maths Challenge

    On Monday 29 April 2024, Dylan Goldring, Toby Caldwell, Finn McDaid and Alfie Livingstone made up our team for the UKMT Junior Team Maths Challenge today at St Malachy’s College, Belfast. The team contested four rounds of mathematical problem-solving requiring knowledge and some athletic ability too! They finished in 3rd place in Northern Ireland following up the team’s 2nd place finish from last year. It was a great day out and very competitive!
